Bears
Bears are cute, but not to shoot, unless you are in danger.
If you don't look and smell like them, you're just another stranger.
And mama bears, they just don't play, they'll have you on your back.
You could become a victim of an all out bear attack.
Please don't feed the bears.
Finding Gold!
In this mystical place with sawdust for glitter,
and sun shining down on the crowds, all atwitter.
There soon comes to life, a man in a tree,
while a Big Foot appears to be running quite free.
A bird, a frog, a man with a dog,
Look too real to be carved from some ugly ol’ log.
What the magic is…one really can’t say,
but will come from the saws and the dust on this day.
A warrior’s face tightens like she’s looking for gold.
She’s sure she can find it. It has to be sold.
Soon, out pops a talon, a leg, and a wing.
It’s quite an incredible vision, this thing.
But the wood warrior knows at the end of the day,
One will not see this bird on display.
He's too graceful, too fine, too alive, too much might.
His head points to heaven, where he’ll surely take
flight.
